Bright Power is seeking an experienced product manager to help develop the vision and strategy for the next generation of our technology platform designed to drive implementation of energy efficiency and renewable energy technologies. You will work closely with all our business units and our software development team to ensure we are building the right features to have the most impact on delivering Bright Power s services.

This would include driving feature development for our core software offering EnergyScoreCards as well as software developed for clients and for internal users to better deliver our services.

The Role and Responsibilities

The Product Manager will report to the CTO and will be responsible for the following:

  • Lead the vision and strategy, development, and launch of external and internal facing Bright Power software
  • Translating that vision and strategy into concrete roadmaps and goals, and working with your team to execute
  • Create release product strategy for the company by building consensus on priorities leading to product execution
  • Lead technical and non-technical cross-functional teams through product planning, development, test planning and product launch
  • Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products
  • Create any documentation necessary to aid the product development life cycle
  • Responsible for collaborating across teams/organization, communicating the team's strategy, vision and progress, especially in front of leadership.
  • Closely monitor market trends and maintain awareness of trends and advancements in the real estate technology space

Minimum Qualification

  • 5-10 years product management experience
  • Experience defining vision and strategy for a technical product
  • Experience going through full product cycle, integrating stakeholder feedback into product requirements and driving prioritization

Preferred Qualification

  • Experience as an engineer, or having engineers as customers
  • BA/BS
